About the Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors is charged with the care and management of Sourcewell, as stated in Minnesota Statute M.S.123A.21, Subd. 4. Sourcewell full-voting members elect our eight-member board. Six are local school board members, and two are elected representatives from member cities, counties, and government agencies within our five-county service area.

The Board of Directors meets every third Tuesday of each month. Unless otherwise noted, meetings are held at 5:30 p.m. at Sourcewell in Staples, Minn., and the public is welcome. You can always check here for posted meeting dates and times.

When board members need to take action outside of the monthly board meeting, the chair calls a special meeting. Board members welcome the public to all special meetings, unless otherwise noted. You can always check here for posted meeting dates and times.
