Project Funding Support

for Central Minnesota Schools & Districts

Enhancing Education & Improving Lives

Big things can come from just a small idea. But it often takes funding to help an idea become a reality. At Sourcewell, we think it’s a smart idea to fund projects in schools to enhance education and improve lives in Region 5.

Small Project Partnership Funding

Have a new idea for your school? We can help. The Small Project Partnership fund supports smaller school projects in Minnesota's Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd, and Wadena Counties that may not meet other types of funding requirements.

Districts can apply for funding for single or multiple projects, with awarded projects receiving up to 50% of funds from Sourcewell based on enrollment (according to Minnesota Department of Education data). Combined award not to exceed $2,500 for districts with enrollment 1,250 students or less, or $2/student for enrollments above 1,250.
