Description:

  • Beginner SEED Seminar (Fall)
Using Robin DiAngelo’s book, “White Fragility,” participants will explore the dynamics of power and privilege as they relate to racial equity and other identities, focusing on promoting self-refection, examining implicit bias, and working for ways to positively impact the students, families, and communities we serve.
  • Advanced SEED Seminar (Spring)
The Advanced SEED Seminar is for educators that have participated in at least one previous SEED course. "Braiding Sweet Grass" by Robin Wall Kimmerer will be used as the grounding text for conversations around relationships and restoration through an indigenous lens. Participants will help construct seminars based on needs as well as share in portions of facilitation.
