CEUs: Administrator and Teacher CEU - Cultural Competence

Materials to bring: Laptop (optional)

Learning objectives:

  • build awareness of inequities and needs
  • build confidence in and strategies for advocating for equity
  • create a mini action plan for equity (to be used in your district) and have support to take action

Description:
The Equity Advocates Leadership Cohort focuses on helping educators address biases and inequities at their roots to create long-lasting, positive change in their schools. Cohort participants will learn and have support in adapting and advocating for policies and practices that foster schoolwide equitable learning environments, enhancing engagement and achievement of all students.
