Inequities can be hard to recognize in the face of school culture, tradition, and community make up. Offered in partnership with the Equity Literacy Institute (nongovernment site), the Equity Advocates Leadership Cohort focuses on helping educators address biases and inequities at their roots to create long-lasting, positive change in their schools.
Cohort participants will learn how to adapt and advocate for policies and practices that foster schoolwide equitable learning environments, enhancing engagement and achievement of all students.
