Succession Training for Nonprofits

The National Council for Nonprofits reports that only 27% of nonprofits (nongovernment source) have a written succession plan in place. Whether there is an unexpected vacancy on the staff or board or the anticipated transition of a long-tenured leader, having a plan in place can help weather the inevitable challenges.

To help local non profits prepare for such challenges, Sourcewell is hosting a three-part Succession Training for Nonprofits course.

Designed for a two-person team, sessions one and two focus on individuals roles and responsibilities, while the final session brings your organization's team together for a shared strategy. Your organization must commit to all three sessions to ensure continuity and the best outcome.
