Special Education
Sourcewell helps to support children with special needs, their families, schools, and communities by providing resources, consultation, and training. Our services do not replace special education programs at schools or provide direct services to families. Sourcewell education specialists strive to assist schools as they help prekindergarten children and low incidence students reach their full potential.
Programs & Services
If you’re an early childhood professional, Sourcewell can help you with technical assistance, support, mentorship, and coaching. Our Early Childhood Centers of Excellence project uses scientific, research-based practices in a wide variety of areas.
To help low incidence students, Sourcewell sponsors the Regional Low Incidence Project for Economic Development for Central Minnesota's Regions 5 & 7. Contracting with highly qualified, licensed educators, the project offers free, appropriate public education (FAPE) within the least restrictive environment (LRE).
