Indefinite Quantity Construction Contract Southern California Regional Energy Network

The National Joint Powers Alliance® (NJPA) issues this Invitation For Bid (IFB) on behalf of, and to provide Indefinite Quantity Construction Contracting (IQCC) services to all current and potential NJPA Members including all government agencies, education agencies to include colleges and universities, and non-profit agencies throughout the State of California.   This IFB is also on behalf of cities, counties, school districts, water districts, sanitation districts and other public agencies serviced by Southern California Edison (SCE) and / or Southern California Gas Company (SCG) in a region that encompasses the counties or Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura, Inyo, Imperial, and Mono, as well as portions of the counties of Orange, Kern, Tulare, and Santa Barbara.  It is the intention of NJPA to award multiple contracts for general lighting, mechanical, water, and waste water construction services in these areas.  Each contract has an estimated annual value of $4,700,000 and the maximum term of the contract is four years.

IQCC is a construction contracting procurement system that provides facility owners’ access to competitively bid “on-call” general contractors to provide immediate construction services over an extended period of time. 

Intending bidders are required to attend a pre-bid seminar which shall be conducted for the purpose of discussing the IQCC procurement system, the contract documents, and bid forms. Attendance at one of the seminars is a mandatory condition of bidding.

All requests must include; mailing address, email address, contact name, phone number. Following your submitted request an email will be sent directly to the registrant with complete instructions on how to obtain the bid documents electronically.  Bids are due by 4:30 pm CT on June 27, 2018 and will be opened at 9:00 am CT on June 28, 2018. IFB Documents will be available until June 28, 2018.
